Quotes
Quotations are made subject to the vehicle suiting the hirer’s requirements being available at the time of acceptance. All quotations are based on the distance of the job taken. A waiting time charge for a horse that takes longer than an hour to load is charged at £10 per hour. Equi – Cabs gives any advice on journey time in good faith and does not guarantee the completion for any journey in any specific time and will not be liable for loss, delay or inconvenience caused by the actual time of the journey.

The hirer of the trailer will be liable to cover the cost of repair for any damage caused to the trailer by your horse. You are welcome to check the trailers over before use. Equi – Cabs will not accept liability for any damage to or loss of any property left in the horse box or towing vehicle. We can carry tack or rugs should you need but these are your responsibility as is the insurance for them.

Drivers
You must hold a full British driving licence, be over 21 yrs old and have insurance and the relevant licence to be able to tow a trailer. When hiring the trailer the driver must insure the trailer on their policy for the day they require it. Proof of insurance and your driving licence must be brought when collecting the trailer.

Horses
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they have adequate insurance for their horse as Equi – Cabs will not be liable in any way for any injury caused to the horse not matter what the circumstances or cause of injury. Equi – Cabs would advise that horse are travelled in travel boots, a tail bandage and where possible a leather headcollar. Passports are required to travel.

Equi – Cabs do not provide hay nets or hay for horses to travel with but do not object should the owner feel they would like the horse to travel with one. Water and first aid kit is always carried on board and rest stops are made.

Passengers
No passengers will be carried and Equi- Cabs request that owners make there own arrangements for travelling to and from the destination.

Payment
Any requested deposit must be paid by the date stated and payment in full must be made before the start of the hire unless other terms have been confirmed by the operator. Payment can be made by cheque or cash. A small cancellation fee is charged for any cancellations less then 7 days.
